The dollar has been devalued roughly 30% since then so the price hasn't really changed
The fact that no one really cares about the value of the $ or even understands your statement, and cares deeply about it is exactly why it keeps on getting devalued.
I see the previous posts of "I remember when it cost XX" now it costs XX
They don't understand or care for the underlying factors of why, and how it became that way.
A real comedic tragedy.

I remember these used to be 2 for $5, maybe even 2 for $4 at one point in time; 2 for $5 for sure though. And the Jr. BCB and small Chicken Sandwich were $1.
The special pizza, Taco, at Papa Murphys this month was double what it was when I worked there 10 years ago. $20 for large now. I see why the price wasn't advertised in commercials/on the window/in the store. They used to compete with freezer pizza prices but with fresh dough/cheese/veggies. I ain't going back.

As I remember, Wendy's most signatured one was 4 for $4.

2 for $5 was running deal here just last year. USD didn't devalue 30% in 12 months.
2 for $7 is no deal....and I have not use this offer for that very reason

its the cost of money plus the cost of labor and materials.
So sure the $ only by itself as an individual variable of a more complex system didn't devalue 30% I agree completely.
Like I said its econ 101....

Exactly ....all the money printing out of thin air killed the value of our dollar. It's well over due to end printing of US Currency, the theft tax that drives inflation.
