True but on Amazon you get 20% cash back if you use the prime card. That is 80ish back.
Costco has them for 399.99 if you have a membership.
FYI. If you're a Costco member these are slightly cheaper and you get the lifetime return policy.

I picked them up after using the 5400s for a few years before lighting storm fried them. Costco took them back and I upgraded to these.

Reason I picked this is all ports are 2.5Gbps compared to say the 75x pros which only have 1 2.5gbps port.

So far no issues.

I was eyeing the Eero 6 or tp-link deco xe75 to replace my aged Linksys mesh. Any feedback on how this would stack up vs Eero 6 or tp-link deco xe75?

7,600 square feet of coverage? I have a single sub-$100 AP that covers our ~2,700 sq ft house with no issues.

At what speed? Routers like the one in this post are really only worth it if you have gigabit or faster internet or you do lots of internal data transfer, and you have a large area to cover.

I love my Deco AX6600's (3 of them). Thinking about adding 2 BE33000 for the WiFi 7 (future proofing) and the 6Ghz back haul. That back haul should be faster than my current MOCA back haul. The price is just hard to swallow when the current hardware is working fine and provides most of the speed I need.

Gigabit Verizon FiOS. Seeing ~800Mbps+ on devices on the 5Ghz band. It's hard to imagine these are targeted for residential use with those coverage numbers, I get that some people need that much coverage, but seems overkill for most households IMO. I don't need my neighbors seeing my SSIDs 3 doors away.

That is like ideal coverage. My house is brick and some of inner walls have cinder blocks (don't ask me why). But I can tell you my coverage drops considerably fast and far. I have to have 4 eeros in the house to ensure no weak spots as it can't penetrate all the walls. It kind of sucks really.

not sure if this is mentioned, but the Costco ones are the 1100s which has a "slightly" higher data rate output...
Nothing that you would even notice for years as most devices out there dont utilize half of wifi 7s advancements

Almost grabbed this but noticed my 4 year old Tri band set has higher 5ghz mbps. 😅 That extra 20% is tempting tho.

I've only used these and eeros. I haven't had any issues with these. I have wired back haul setup though. If you use wireless back haul you'll lose the 6Ghz band.

No you don't. (Currently on wireless back haul, also currently connected to 6ghz on my phone).

A bit surprised no one has mentioned the recent bad PR for TP Link: https://www.cnet.com/home/interne...onnection/

And also surprised at down voted for Ubiquiti; was eyeballing the BE33000 and saw that news. Ended up with a ubiquiti system + access points + doorbell for a same price (or less).

Worth consideration. This isn't a bad deal. Just seems limiting.

100% agreed. Unifi or bust. Their stuff is far superior at significantly better prices. I mean you could get a UDM with two access points for around the price of these TP Link on sale. Plus, TP-Link is based out of China and do not have a great reputation. Ubiquity is a US company and have an incredible reputation.

Don't get me wrong… TP Link stuff is fine for your grandparents who need some cheap, easy to set up mesh network. But when you start getting into prosumer grade prices, don't settle for less.
Just cause I find this hilarious. Lets do you made up math, one you need a dream or cloud device first cheapest comparable is $200 , than a comparable access point would be the $190 U7 PRO and look at that you already blew past the budget...

As for reputation, lololol, right thats why TP-Link has won multiple editors choice and top pick awards, not to mention SMB awards. Please get informed before posting nonsense...

Also as for performance these mesh units kill the comparable U7 PRO and are more in line with the $280/$300 U7 Pro MAX/ XGS access points which than completely blows away your silly $400 budget, lolol.

Unifi stuff is incredibly easy to find deals on because they're enterprise. You can always find them secondhand at a much better value. My whole UniFi setup cost me around 400. If speed is your only concern, sure buy the TP-Link. But if you care about security, longevity, upgradability, and customization you're well better off buying UniFi.

Lolol so now you are comparing used equipment to NEW... Dude you crack me up. There is nothing your Unifi setup can do that actually matters to a normal everyday person, and in the process the TP-Link schools your setup in what matters to everyday people actual performance, and the best part its cheaper overall by a lot.

BTW there is a reason you see a lot of Unifi USED equipment, cause people after awhile figure out it was a waste of money for their home environment and get rid of it to the next sucker who wants to overpay.
