If you don't mind the bed of the pickup getting a little dirty -

The "hack" is to buy their "broken bags." If the mulch has a hole in it - it's half price.

We did our entire landscaping for $1 a bag.

Bags are produced regionally, so in some parts of country you will get good mulch. Other areas will have mold, bugs, trash.

This is why the reviews are all over the place. Buy in person.

Check with your local nursery, if you're not stuck on color (as in natural is OK) they can either match or beat this pricing for half or full yard bulk and you'll have more choice in size. and it will also be better quality.
