Confirming this works for $99. You have to try different stores. I had to try another state. Saw on Reddit and multiple people confirmed it works.

My 2 orderd went through. The lady working the pick up desk gave me the business! She went straight to her supervisor to verify that it wasn't a price glitch after seeing my orders and the stack of other DeWalt tools ready for pickup. Thankfully my orders were honored. Honestly I feel kind of sick to my stomach, because I legit feel like I stole these tools. Crazy!

anyone know how to handle best if free tool is oos on order? lowes is giving me option to cancel the loss tool online or select a replacement but I am guessing they wont refund me anything for tool (not sure if thy prorate) and charge me for any replacement I pick online? do I just pickup first then return battery right then? i am thinking if I try anything before pickup it might mess up rest. 4 tools & 5 batt ready for pickup.

Just got the confirmation / ready for pickup notice by email 10 minutes ago. My brother got text messages. They have my number too so I'm not sure why I didn't get a text. He's on his way to work now so if they cancel I won't know until I get there. It's not particularly close so I will press the issue if that happens.

Thank you for the post. I did eventually find a store around me that had the batteries at $99. Picked up two sets, one with a 1/4 impact driver and one with a jigsaw, delivered from the store in about an hour for $15. Even managed to get a traditional ground shipping order through on a recip saw but with a delivery date of the 5th I suspect Lowe's is going to catch and kill that one.
