I have some of these games on EA/origin. Is there a way to transfer them to steam or do I have to re-purchase them on steam?

Repurchase 99% sure. I'd be very surprised if EA lets you transfer them over ngl

If you're running Win10, don't bother. I bought these before and no matter what I did, I couldn't get them to run properly. I tried everything people suggested -- reinstalling the anti-cheat, tweaking the registry, changing to a diff hdd, running in compatibility mode, you name it. Ultimately refunded. Add those headaches to the fact that these games are notoriously cheated and, well, it's not worth the energy of going through checkout, let alone the $2 spent.

EA abandons game updates to cheaters once they move onto the next game. So just be prepared for frustration unless EA has finally done the right thing over the past few years which I doubt.

Been playing all BF games since BF2 back in early 2000s and once they money runs out, they stop updating anti cheat.

BF4 is amazing. Just hope they don't take the servers down anytime soon.

The single player campaigns itself are worth much more. Had purchased few months back same price. Have all the BF games except the latest BF2042 as it did not have single player campaigns. I do not buy multiplayer only games.

Use the Add non-steam game option to add your legit games. That way you can use the steam launcher to launch games you have purchased on other PC platforms.

Maybe I did it wrong, but I tried that with Battlefield 1 and couldn't get it to work properly.

Same here. I couldn't even get it to load into a map.

So you don't have BF1942, BF Vietnam, BF2, or BF2142 since they didn't have single player, right? That's far from all the BF games 😆
