As for performance. It came with 6 x 8ah batteries. Fully charged it will mow an acre 2.5 times at full speed. Once you get comfortable with the speed (it's fast) you put the blades on high speed and you can mow an acre in less than an hour. I sold my John Deere and never looked back. Best part is mowing early in the morning or late to avoid the heat and it's quiet enough to not disturb the neighbors. Headlights are super bright as well. Hope that helps.

So when the batteries die you will have to spend thousands of $ to replace them?
QUESTION: Since GWT does not sell replacement suitcase batteries, the mower's end-of-life coincides with the life of these batteries. What is the expected calendar life of these batteries assuming ~60 cycles/season and charged to full/stored full after each use?
ANSWER: Thank you for your question. Our suitcase batteries have a 1500 cycles expected lifespan (battery expected to drop to 80% capacity after 1500 cycles). We hope this helped!

Also, you may know this, but 80V batteries pack more energy capacity at any given Ah rating and so you really need to convert to kWh to compare value between battery packs. E.g. Q6 60V 5 Ah batteries may seem better than Q5 80V 5 Ah batteries, but that's not really the case. The 60V batteries pack 1.8 kWh (6x60x5) while the 80V batteries pack 2.0 kWh (5x80x5) of energy.
QUESTION: The user manual states a product storage temp. range of 32°F~95°F. I live in the NE U.S. and winters routinely get below 32°F in my garage where the mower (batteries could be stored inside) would be stored. Would this impact the reliability or warranty?
ANSWER: Thank you for your question. Keeping the unit stored indoors is recommended, even with those temperatures. To comply with the warranty, we advised for all batteries to be stored indoors. Should you have any further questions, please contact Greenworks Customer Experience at 1-888-909-6757 (1-888-90WORKS) or start a live chat and we will be happy to assist you further. We hope this helped!

If you're deciding between 60 and 80- I have 60 and love it. But I'm sure 80 is great and 80v tools go on sale more often than 60v.
About $5500 for the 60v 54" with the coupon code you posted.
