I have the multi tool and love it. I needed to grind some metal and instead of using my grinder I used the multi tool. So smooth and quiet compared to the grinder.

The multi tool is brushed, but it chooches. I had to cut a channel in a cabinet shelf, and while loud as hell, it went right through a half inch piece of hardwood without much trouble. Kinda made me a believer in the multi tool. I've got other "more powerful" ones, but I just keep going back to the loud ass cheapo one and it just keeps on rockin.

Also, with all multi tools and sanders-spend the money on the better blades/sandpaper. Everyone always says this and I finally listened and they're so right. The 3m sheets are like fascinating to use. The Milwaukee grout removal blade is absurd.
