Weber replacement parts are so easy to find. Have a Genesis from 10+ years ago, just replaced all the flavorizer bars and burner tubes for $30, it's like new again.

Home Depot still has the E315 (less features though) on sale for $449

That is a lower tier Spirit grill. While I have a Spirit grill that has lasted 7 years without issues it is lower quality than the Genesis grills.

Is this only propane or both propane and natural gas versions?

This is like saying the iPhone 10 is available cheaper than the iPhone 16.

Spirit is trash. If you're spending multiple hundreds on a gas Weber you should be buying the Genesis line.

Webber quality has gone down so much I'd rather just get a charbroil every few years rather than watch my Genesis weber just fall apart. It's under a carport.. the burner grates are rotting away and the burner itself. Unacceptable and i'll never buy another weber again.

Sad but true. Nothing lasts like it used to. My MIL has an ice cream scoop from the 80s that still works like new. A similar one made today would be lucky to last a couple years.

It really is šŸ˜‚. But honestly, it's stainless steel with the trigger and all. It might even be from the 70's!

For someone who hasn't been into grilling but want to get started, can you suggest if I should look for a grill or a griddle? It's been confusing, and many websites recommend a griddle for its versatility vs a grill. Would welcome any thoughts from this community that may help us make a decision. We aren't big meat eaters, so it's about enjoying time in backyard on weekend making both vegetarian and some meat dishes like burgers, grilled chicken, etc.
