How much repellant are you getting in the spray bottle vs this one? Who knows.
From my one-time use of the spray bottle years ago, I think this one is more effective.

EDIT: I guess I got confused, we talking about 2 different products mentioned.
When I applied strictly following the directions, it all clouded up, and my windshield had a haze all over. Night driving, especially in rain, was a nightmare.
I have never touched it ever since.

Every time I see a comment like this, it's because someone doesn't follow directions. Don't get all bent. Just clean your windshield thoroughly first. I recommend this.

Follow the directions on the bottle and it is almost like magic. I've been using this on every car in the family as well as rentals and the daughter's boyfriend's windshield.
I see this as important maintenance and probably the best safety feature I've "installed" on a car.
Like others said, I sometimes don't even turn on my wipers. In storms that would have made driving impossible, the rainX product just makes the water bead away.
I've personally never had your experience and I've been using it since it hit the market. I hope others give this a try, especially if they live in rainy areas like I do.
