I tried playing it a few months ago on pc and it kept crashing so I bought it for $20 for PS5, where it crashed only a couple times.

But there are some notable shortcomings in terms of performance. For reference, I played on the PS Pro and on performance mode. it did crash four or five times in my entire play through. Every single time it crashed within a few seconds of me saving the game, so I didn't lose play time in any instance. Just had to restart the game.
Otherwise the game was not that buggy on PS5. The biggest distraction was the horrible pop-in and terrible draw distance. Just unbelievably bad. Textures and objects would pop in right ahead of you all the time. Of course, you tend to ignore that after some time, but the game still felt a bit unpolished despite on its 10th patch or something.
