I spent a long time working at a job where watches were prone to fly off your hand and wind up in machinery, and this was my first watch in a long time. After 7 years, I'm on my third battery and first nylon strap. Every time I change the oil, I forget to take it off, and it gets soaked. I wear it in every shower, and I wash it with dish soap and a toothbrush in the shower.
I think the MW-240 is a little friendlier for aftermarket straps, because mine was a major pain, but I'm obviously not a watch person. I can still tell time through the scratches, but maybe I should polish them at some point.

I just got another one because I like the white digits with 24 hr on them. I wish the bezel was tactile and glass scratched easy for me on the first one I used for razor clamming trip and left it at the house we got. Been missing it since. Cheap plastic beater and easy to read what else can you ask for. I've had drinks more expensive than this. I prefer the Casio duro for $60 as my favorite beater but this is light weight and gets the job done
This is a good price, i got it as a beater watch when i go out to camp, hunt, and fish. i might get another one in different color, if the price come down to $15.
I am an avid watch "collector" (substitute "addict"). Don't even know how many I have! Saying that, this is my ultimate "beater". Already wore out the first and immediately replaced it. I will always have one of these as long as Casio continues to make it and maintains a reasonable price. Although I don't need one, came close to buying to have a backup.
