Yes you should pull the trigger. It's huge but it's not as huge as your compressor and takes a fraction of the time to set up. I've built a few cabinet sets with it so far and the last thing I want to do after cutting is lug out the compressor, look for my hose, wait for the long, loud pressurization, hook up the nailer, etc. For this, I toss in a battery, press the on button and fire away.

First off, what do you need a nailer for?

Second, if you need multiple nailers it is best go pneumatic, cheaper and they last longer

It is on the large side. However the M12 only does 5/8" - 1-1/2" while this does 5/8-in to 2-1/2 and almost half the price.

One thing I have read is that it's challenging to find replacement tips when they wear out. However, someone uploaded the 3D plans if you have access to a 3D printer you could make your own. https://www.printables.com/model/...no-mar-tip

Yes you should pull the trigger. It's huge but it's not as huge as your compressor and takes a fraction of the time to set up. The next best alternative from the cost perspective for a cordless brad nailer would be a Metabo HPT. My local Lowes still has a few in stock as a kit with a single 2.0ah battery for $150.00 (no tool bag included). I bought that one and I really like it. The Ketchup and Mustard cordless nailers are crazy expensive IMO. Those may be worth it if you're in the trades, but for DIY you could probably get by with one from a less popular brand. Bought this last deal, used it on a few projects already. Very happy with it, plenty of power, non jams yet, and amazing battery life on a 2ah. Will last a whole days use on a single charge, I'd say a whole box of 1000 brads. The safety tip is the only thing that can be annoying, it needs to fully depressed against your work, but to the point that driving brads at an angle can be tricky in tight spaces. It's huge and heavy as well but worth it overall

Found the size is worth dealing with to avoid lugging around a compressor and hose. Also, this won't wake up the kids like the compressor will when it needs to turn back on every 5 minutes.
