These things are a blessing and a curse. I use these in my vehicles with my AAWireless so I can charge my phone on a more powerful charger and they also fix the loose connection from years of plugging and unplugging from that port but be careful with condensation or spilling any liquids near the port. My older car's port ended up rusting and now it's permanently welded to the port. Good news for me is it still works but will have to replace the port if anything happens.

I've used these to turn the back USB ports on both a PS5 and Series X into USB C, then either charged controllers or used external SSDs. Work perfectly.

Yes. They are just a physical connector not a logical one. But if it's what you need/are you need a good to have around

Only USB 2.0 speed. There are A-to-C adapters that actually give USB 3.0 speed.

The description also says nothing about quick charging. So expect slow charging at 5V/1A.

I have similar adapter and they get very hot when used for charging.
