This is a phenomenal monitor but be warned, the coating is *VERY* soft and will scratch easily.

I strongly suggest only ever touching the screen with a *BRAND NEW* microfiber cloth and heavily applied alcohol free lens cleaner after using an air duster and putting the panel on its back.

Doing anything else will lead to micro scratches. Which honestly are probably inevitable regardless.

I was one of the first to get the AW3423DW in 2022 and had to pay the premium $1300 to get it. For this deal I have the 10% dell coupon plus $100 cashback though Amex and 15% cb from a popular site. So tempting but I can't stomach selling my AW3423DW for a fraction of what I paid.

Between the 10% off coupon, $120 in Dell rewards to use now, 13% CB from AMEX and 15% CB from that popular site, this comes out around $550! I've already got (and LOVE) an ASUS QD-OLED 32" though!
Where are you seeing 13% CB with Amex? I only see a 5% CB offer.

Last time I bought this Dell never delivered the gift card for $100 that they promised as part of the deal. Absolutely awful company.
Did you email them about it? If not, it may not be too late to email their customer service. (I know they are supposed to send it without asking)

If you have the Dell $100 back on multiple amex cards, you can put $500 on one and about $376 on another. Spend another $124 + your dell rewards when you get them and you should get another $100 back from Amex. (amex deal expires in August)

For the past four years, every time I place an order on Dell.com, it gets canceled due to a verification issue. Is there any way to fix this?

If it weren't curved it would be my top choice probably, since RTINGs claims it has great OOTB color accuracy. Also, though, I was thinking it already was $900. And I sadly cant use my amex offer and get from dell because i have so many BB gift cards.

You might be surprised. I thought I did NOT like curved monitors at all. Every one I have ever seen simply look stupid to me. The AW3225QF is a very gentle curve, I honestly liked it very much.

yeah I read that it does have a gentle curve. Another thing, though, is a dell monitor hurt my head badly, but i dont know if it was related to brand or not. But different brands do bother my head more or less. For instance sony qd oled tv bothers my head more than samsung qd oled tv.

I wonder what the reality is on returning a monitor to dell, though. I read that you pay restocking, but someone on here claimed that is only for businesses and that individuals don't pay restocking.

If I buy the asus monitor and a tv I am out all of my best buy gift cards AND over $800 more. If I buy this straight from dell I would be out same or less actual cash and have more money left over for the tv at best buy. So it's tempting as long as dell accepts returns without restocking.

edit: yeah a search does say consumers don't pay restocking...

Get it and see. The only way to know for sure. Dell doesn't make the actual panel itself, the panel itself is made by Samsung.

This monitor is a HUGE upgrade from my AW3423DW. For years I've avoided using 4k resolution because of the demands on the GPU and the limits on their refresh rates. But I'm so glad I made the jump. The decrease in fps isn't as much as I thought it would be on the 4090 (even less on a 5090), and everything else is just WAY better. The text clarity is a night and day difference, and using it as a work monitor is much better than previously. Also, the HDR is a significant upgrade and it also runs in Dolby Vision in desktop mode which is so much more pleasant to the eyes. I'm not sure why I've been running ultrawide all these years, ever since the original U3415W, but I really miss the vertical real estate. I think 16:9 resolution just fits my field of vision better, perhaps I'm more keen to vertical FOV than horizontal. Even though this 32" may be a smaller number than a 34" ultrawide, the but surface area is actually larger. I don't think I'll ever go back to ultrawide again. This is seriously the best monitor I've ever owned. I actually prefer this monitor over my LG G4 77

Not bad, but it's not as good as the previous deals.

I ended up getting a couple of refurbished for 6-700 each since I missed the previous deals.
