I have a very similar bag from adidas. I have had it about a year now. I carry my phone, wallet, keys, & sunglasses in it daily, and still have room for pill bottles, cell phone charger, and other miscellaneous things. Before this, during the winter everything just went in my coat pockets. During the summer, some of it would go in the pockets of my shorts, and the rest would be hand carried and put on the seat of the car. This solution keeps me a little more organized, especially in the nicer weather months.
