What case did you order if you don't mind me asking?

good luck activating the device! I just spent 3 hours on the phone and 1 hour on live chat trying to get this device activated.
the 3 month airtime cannot be activated with the device, per the 4 reps I talked to the device is not compatible....

hopefully someone has better luck.

So what was the outcome of your issue? Are you getting your money back, sending the phone back? What is your next step?

Received the device today and went through the port in process. No port out text received from Google Voice and no port status link from 'Manage Lines' yet. Will see if there are any changes tomorrow.

It can take several days for GV to port, it's mentioned a lot in the other TW deals requiring port.

device was never activated.

I wish I was kidding when I say this, but I was told to return the device and buy a Samsung; only Samsung devices are compatible with the total wireless network & Moto devices are only compatible with straight talk network. another reason I was given was that the razr phone was dropped from the supported list of devices.

this makes no sense, both companies are Verizon MVNOs so it was clear the rep was just making this up on the fly. moto and Samsung devices are both available to be ordered on their website.

for now im going to hold onto the device and give it a few days to see if they can fix what is clearly a system issue.

Yes, it took about 24 hours the last time. The difference was in the prior transaction I received a port out confirmation from Google Voice and you could check the pending status in the Account information section right after the port out initiation.

It's very possible the necessary info to activate isn't in the system yet - it wasn't supposed to be released till the 15th & they probably shipped it out before they were supposed to. (Hopefully phones didn't get sent out without being scanned correctly, would be a complete disaster).
Saying only Samsung works & not Motorola really shows how poorly trained and ignorant some of these reps are since they've been selling Motorola phones for years.
