I mean, yeah, it's a little shady to abuse the retention department, but I got stuff to do, I'm not sitting on hold for 45 mins, told some bs, get disconnected while on hold or xfr'd, and then call back in and wait for a supervisor, like a lot of people here did.
It was a 5 minute call and my phone was on my account and working.
Smarter not Harder, friends. 🙂

I wish I was kidding when I say this, but I was told to return the device and buy a Samsung; only Samsung devices are compatible with the total wireless network & Moto devices are only compatible with straight talk network. another reason I was given was that the razr phone was dropped from the supported list of devices.
this makes no sense, both companies are Verizon MVNOs so it was clear the rep was just making this up on the fly. moto and Samsung devices are both available to be ordered on their website.
for now im going to hold onto the device and give it a few days to see if they can fix what is clearly a system issue.
however clicking the check status, or going to the dashboard do not show any open activation request.
