I own the 2024 Razr 5G and yes, that phone does include a one-time replacement screen provided by U Break I Fix. I think it was good for 2 years from purchase and assume (right or wrong?) that the 2025 phone also includes it.

To The people who have received their phones. Could you please try and put a non total wireless SIM in your phone to see if it is locked or unlocked or check in the settings to see if the status says it is locked or unlocked. Just trying to test a theory that may be total wireless sent out unlocked phones on accident and that's why they are recalling them.

For anyone having activation or port issues, instead of reg TW CS, choose the "more options" in the IVR (recorded prompts) and select or say "disconnect". You'll be xfr'd to someone almost immediately and they have all the tools you need.

I mean, yeah, it's a little shady to abuse the retention department, but I got stuff to do, I'm not sitting on hold for 45 mins, told some bs, get disconnected while on hold or xfr'd, and then call back in and wait for a supervisor, like a lot of people here did.

It was a 5 minute call and my phone was on my account and working.
Smarter not Harder, friends. 🙂

Mine arrived today. It's a neat phone. It's a steal at $165, imo. Spent an hour with support trying to port my GV number. Seems like it got stuck in the process. They are going to cancel and resubmit the port. Will see how that goes. Support was patient, stayed with me while I got GV support on the line. I can now make calls, use the data and send messages, just that incoming call to the GV number still goes to GV.

All these port-in issues, are they only for google voice numbers or for all carriers?

My phone was shipped yesterday, arrived in my area last night, and now UPS is relaying that the sender (Total Wireless) requested a return of the package. Anyone else dealing with this? Maybe TW shipped these phones out earlier than they were supposed to and are trying to avoid more activation issues in their support department?

I think we'll be fine, my guess is that TW was shipping these out earlier than they were supposed to and didn't have the system set up in the background to deal with the activations yet.

I think so too, which is why im holding on to the device for a few more days.

I dont think I have ever dealt with representatives so incompetent as this. its just wild.
