I know you are kidding. But with TW - this is totally possible. It really is your phone.
Yep, sounds like they got the returns back & didn't bother to reset the phones & database to remove the original accounts. Could potentially cause issues later with unlocking if not activated correctly.
TW totally screwed this up - glad I decided to keep my 2024 RAZR & not update.

Hmm, I wonder if this cross account activation explains the MFA texts I got from TW this morning. I have a mystery package arriving from CEVA later today.
Yes, I definitely have a new line on my account. Anyone here with a (785) area code line?
Luckily I don't have any payment methods associated to this account.

For those who had their orders returned what's next ? I don't see any refund and customer care is not able to provide me any update since they are asking for phone number associated with the account and not able to pull any information with order confirmation number

Just received my device but it comes with a bad pixel, what should I do? their CS seems to be unhelpful at all.
You will probably have to contact Motorola for warranty service. Just tell Motorola that you think you saw smoke come from the earpiece speaker.

Lol so the phones are tied to specific accounts and everyone is getting someone else's phone and CS doesn't have a clue how to handle. What a cluster.
probably everyone will get someone else's phone that was originally sent to them then sent to the warehouse then sent back out -- to someone else. i suggest, just imo, if you haven't received your "new-new" razr, to remove the imei of the returned one that is currently in your account. because when the customer service agent activates the phone that was originally sent to you but now given to someone else, that someone else would now see your personally identifiable information (PII) when they log into their account (now) and see all your info in the Payment Methods section, including your name and address. anyway, when you activate the "new-new" phone (that was someone else's), that is now your new IMEI and not the original one that was "returned to sender". musical chairs!

protect yourself now and unlink that original returned IMEI before it gets activated to someone else's email. by that time, you would no longer have access to change your PII (credit card info) in the Payment Methods section because by that time, it's already linked to the new owner's email address which the customer service agent did for you.

oh, if i only know a lawyer, this would make him a lot of money for a class action suit for divulging people's PII.

If you didn't know, you actually don't have a "warranty" with motorola. Whatever happens to your razr from total wireless you would have to reach out to total wireless about any sort of "warranty" which I doubt there is. And if there is....well you are better off eating the cost of what you paid for the phone thru this deal than to go through total wireless....cause they are totally the best ever?11?1? Right?? Right?????????

They reshipped the phone and I'm typing from exact same phone.

I have 4 active Total Wireless lines with area code 785. That's probably my phone, although I'm doing the Moto Edge and A35 deals, not the Moto Razr deal Big Grin.
