That's mostly true when it's not movies anywhere you could buy it on multiple platforms and then not even know it. It's the same thing with gaming steam GOG PS five Nintendo epic etc. it's so easy to buy games on multiple platforms when you don't know.

My main reason for preferring MA titles is that if one movie service (vudu, fandango, whoever) goes under, it doesn't take all my purchases with it.

Some services have gone under (UV, Flixter) but someone else (VUDU in both cases) always came in and absorb them.
