This is a decent product to help breakdown clay soil. However, it really depends on your soil. It works best when you have soil that's clay, low calcium, and high sodium/salt. That's the ideal scenario where this product would work. It will replace some of your sodium with calcium and create air pockets that help aerate your soil. Works best for coastal areas that have clay soil and high salt content.

Thanks for the comments. I have red clay soil here in Tennessee. It's been challenge to get grass to grow. I've spread a few loads of topsoil but still slow growing. I ordered 4 bags so hopefully this will help. My delivery guy/gal may hate me though πŸ˜‚

I ordered 8, but live on 3 acres of .. hopefully that's enough to cover the tamed areasπŸ˜… If you've got a small let property, you can get by with a bag or 2.

Let me know how it goes. I'm considering getting some as I have the same red clay situation.
