Some negatives: I am assuming the remote is the thermostat and is around 6-7 degrees off. I live 30 minutes ne of atlanta. This thing will not keep up for heat in January. With that said, I live in a 900 sq A frame from the 70s with single pane windows. Lastly the 60 degree minimum kind of stinks. Because I think its trying to run more at 66.
Mine does not have wifi so I cant comment on that.
As far as the ac goes, its awesome. It costs almost nothing to make it feel like it should snow inside.
My guess is under $1 a day to keep it cold, more like $3 a day to keep it warm.
All of this assumes this is the same as the rebranded costway ones. Almost 2 full years and no issues.

its ok.
I have won awards for my progressive sustainability.
take care.
I don't like the two separate cables hanging outside, but it's nice not have to plug in an outdoor outlet. And I think this would make it up to code (i.e. wiring to a circuit with disconnect).
It blows very cold air and is relatively quiet. It's definitely much smaller than the picture.

I'm looking for a mini spit for my garage, this one price is 1/2 of Mr.Cool but Mr. Cool says it's a DYI, this one said professional install required, I looked at both and they are the same, both come pre-charged, I don't know what am I missing.

as far as quality of the material I guess you pay for what you get, I used to install Mitsubishi mini slip and the quality was far superior
