"Easy has unlimited continues and you spawn in the general area where you died, you take 50% damage and you can fully see on the map, Normal you take 1 heart of damage don't have unlimited continues can only see where you have explored, Hard you take 1 heart of damage no map, Extreme hard-pogo only and no map and no saves, also between each difficulty health / 1ups geat more scarce"
"It goes from completely new, never played a platformer in your life and more than likely you're under the age of 5. Up to: Holy Hell, it renders more butthurt and frustration than the original. And I love it.
I bought this game the day it initially released on PS3. I was so excited because I wanted to smash this game that I could never ever beat on Nintendo. I did not see even half the levels I did on NES.

It's a tough platformer for sure. Not impossible, but challenging.
Bionic Commando is on another level of crazy because you can't jump and have to think differently than most platformers.
Bionic Commando isn't even that difficult once you get a few health upgrades and figure out how easy it is to farm continues and lives.
