Bought this 28tb from Best Buy last month and it had a barracuda inside. I picked up a 14tb and 18tb from seagate and both has Exos inside.

"Enjoy peace of mind with the included limited warranty and Rescue Data Recovery Services"

The recovery service also can't do anything if the platters are scratched. For example, if the HHD tips over while running, this can easily happen. So don't rely on this service, it doesn't replace a backup.

Seems like too much data to keep on one drive through (even with redundancy).
This is the one Epstein had right?

Most people CAN imagine, so they make arrangements for that day.
I backup (image) every day, every machine, and my server 2x per-day. Therefore, I can't imagine being without.

I have two of these. They're rebadged exos drives. Helium temps.

28TB, 24TB and 14TB...any chance any of these are exos or just barracuda?

I think they mean today. Early units were Exos. No Exos have been found recently.

Seagate vs WD, which is more reliable?
Seagate honor warranty, WD do not. Both not reliable

One year warranty says how much confidence Seagate has in these drives.
WD 0 warranty.

$11.79/TBThat's pretty nuts. Use to have to pay a premium for the highest capacity and then -2TB of that would be in the $15/TB
My 20 MEGABYTE hard drive back in 89 cost $400. war stories.

You could try GoodSync.
