Yes it does. It will also work with any other speaker that has a 1/4" mic input. I use this same set with a Klipsch party speaker and it works great.

I had this model. Bought as new. The screw cap that comes off to access the battery started to get little hair line cracks. On both mics. I was in no way abusive or over used them. Since they still had manufacture warranty. Contacted JBL and got a replacement for ones with built in battery. Sound quality and range was awesome on these. Just something to be aware of with that bottom cap.

These don't have echo level and mic volume level. You still need a karoake amplifier if you want amazing mic quality.

Mine did the same and called support for help. They told me some speakers are not fully compatible with the adapter. I tried it on a smaller 200 watts speaker and it worked perfectly. I was using the mics on a 1700 watts speaker before that.

"got a replacement for ones with built in battery", are you saying JBL sent you warranty replacement but it's a different model with rechargeable batteries?

These need to go to a 1/4" input. Likely your receiver won't have that. You could get an adapter but it would just be the mic you'd hear over the speakers. If you're looking to pair the mic with audio for karaoke, you'll need to get a mixer. You could probably find a cheap mixer for $50 to $100 on Amazon, then mic can go to that, your music source can go to that and the output of that would work on your receiver.
