Big fail... sorta

Bought the flowers from Lucky and then saw gift cards from Safeway/Walgreens and thought I could buy those with the $75 but turns out they were excluded. Then I started shopping at Target but when I was ready to complete the checkout, I realized it wasn't one of the eligible stores for $75. At that point I had 2 minutes left for DoubleDash so I just clicked on CVS and added random items.

I placed an order for the flowers and I had 4 options to use the credit at CVS, Smart and final, Walgreens and a supermarket, not Sephora and Ulta, as they said in the promotion. I also tried to use the credit at one of those stores and it didn't apply the credit upon check out.

Warning. It says you must order within 15 minutes but if your Dasher is fast and gets there before the 15 minutes, they close the order and you lose $75. My "Dasher" works at the flower shop. So as soon as they received the order, they closed it. Lost my $75.

However I did a second order and got it (because I already had a cart filled). That one worked. So now I bought $55 of flowers I don't need but at least got $75 in groceries.

I'd call it a wash… but not worth the frustration.

I will never use Doordash for flowers again. Everything is out of stock and they just keep substituting my choice with something inferior without my approval, instead of refunding it. Then Doordash makes it impossible to cancel and says "Connecting you with an agent" for a hour.

Order went smoothly with no extra charges!

Placed order yesterday morning for delivery at 8am this morning for 2 arrangements from Bloom Haus. I spent 30+ min finalizing my cart for DoubleDash from Albertsons.

Got a call from Bloom Haus at 8am saying they ran out of my arrangements and I asked them to substitute any bouquet. They ended up sending exactly what I ordered!

The math worked out to:
Bloom Haus $40 - $20 promo - $10 Chase credit + fees/tax/tip
DoubleDash $75.34 - $75 discount + fees/tax/tip

If the store was included in the promotion, the credit should show instantly before checking out...

DoorDash just out full scamming for mother's day. I did not get my credit. Three diff Chat support left me on read. I guess I should call next, but I'm just gonna do a chargeback with the screenshots of Doordash support not existing.

Ordered flowers from Safeway ($21.99) and got 6 lbs of frozen salmon from Sprouts ($74.94) in double-dash. Good stuff.

Both orders delivered by the same dasher.

The promotions looked working, but got an additional charge of $82 when dasher picked up my order...

Now I need to reach to customer service why they do that.
