That's not how that works. Neither stroke, nor diabetes, is caused by ingesting sugar. Jfc. It's a total of 40g sugar and of course it's added. Sugar doesn't exist naturally in ginger and carbonated water. How else do you think they make it sweet?

Item cannot be shipped to my location (MA) usually I only see this with things like banned fertilizer and shower heads. What could possibly be in ginger beer?

Did you check the expiration date? Last time I grabbed a pack like that they were expired by over 6 months. I only looked after I used two of them and felt like it didn't have the same punch they usually do.
