I have both and I normally go back to my 13 year old 9000 after buying replacement arm pads. (They fell apart after 8 years)

The 12000 is 100% worth it at this price and a great chair with good quality w/o going into designer chairs that cost 700+.

(I hear it's better than the Costco chair apparently that's not made for any one over 5'7" to sit comfortably, I'm fine in this chair at 6'3")

The Arm's aren't attached to the backrest, so you can take them off. Although part of the ergonomics is to have the adjustable arm rest to have a good sitting position for working/gaming.

I've had a pretty nice executive pillow type leather chair for years, but have been thinking about getting a better chair recently. Took this as my sign and grabbed on. Thanks!

I've used the warranty on another Workpro chair and can confirm that it is smooth. They shipped out the replacement parts very quickly. This one has a same warranty and was one of the chairs on my compare list when I bought the ergonomic pro.

I gave my office chair to one of the kids because I needed something that I could take the arms off due to my old-school desk. In the meantime, I've been using a $10 office chair from Woot! and it's not great. This came along just in time.

Thanks, OP! In for one. Been waiting for a used Herman Miller to show up closer to me on Marketplace and keep striking out. For $100, this is worth a shot. The Ikea chair I've got currently is going on year 10 and there's not much cushion left to it.

For $100, why not. I'm looking for a new chair for my study desk. Seems like a good deal considering it sells for 300-500, through I find it hard to believe the chair is worth it's original msrp.

Insane deal. Been using a WP 9000 at home for 6 years and another WP 9000 at my office for the last 2. Great chairs, and even though I'm a big guy (350LB), they are both going strong.
