Checked recent Amazon ratings before biting.....looks like a lot of reports of not lasting past a few months to a year, poor QA. Unfortunately will have to pass, in my case not worth the risk. Thanks for posting though!

Does this tilt down? Would like to put a fan in my garage ceiling... Its about 15 feet high to move air around in the summer and winter

Some credit cards will extend the warranty 1-2 years beyond the default warranty.
