Got mine from Woot for the same price the last time this deal came around. Everything was packaged very well, and I'm convinced the unit is completely new. No issues, not even a tiny scratch. It replaced our V8 and we love it.

For $50 more you can buy a refurb on eBay with a 2 year warranty, instead of the 6 month on this deal. Is the extra cost worth the extended warranty?

Anyone know if this guy comes with a HEPA filter? Can't find any verbiage on it, but I'd be surprised if one of their higher end ones didn't.

Edit: Looks like you need to buy the Absolute variant to get HEPA filtering.

Of course it has HEPA. Where the exhaust is. I comes right out HEPA

I can't speak to refurbs; but I bought this vacuum from costco 6 months ago. Still works great; easy to clean, take apart; still works like new. no issues here. Honestly I love it. I understand Dyson gets a lot of hate for price; but i seriously dont regret buying this at around $500. I used Sharks for years; and they were fine for a year or two; but I noticed it just wasn't picking up as much as it should.

My biggest issue with these is the battery. I need a deal on one with the swappable battery. I had one of the older ones and the battery died after a few years and a new one from dyson was more expensive than just getting a refurb, the offbrand batteries worked for a few months and didnt perform as well.

I'm in the same situation. I'm considering dumping cordless because of replacement batteries.
