Pretty sure we got these (or similar) was giveaway's at work. They were neat but the LED's were the old school (diode) style so were pretty weak compared to COB lights. But for $5 probably still worth it because you can really aim the light to exactly what you are tinkering with.

The code will not work because I was only selling one of these and used slick deals to promote it now it gets lots of attention and I don't have to pass the code out to a whole bunch of people and lose money

As noted above, I will not buy it either due to the button battery.
While the tool is cheap, the battery cost will become the dominanting cost of ownership/operations over the life of the tool. But it may work for people who use a lot of LR44 batteries and always have spares left around in house / at work.

The light is weak not takes 4 x LR44 button cell batteries.
