Since, you seem like you may be familiar with this webcam, would you say that this would be a decent/good, inexpensive choice, for trying to do podcast recordings? Some helpful feedback, would definitely be appreciated.

ive never had this one, but had a brio 4k for my previous employer and saw a review that seemed like this was not much worse than that (And a brio 4k is like $200 new).

I mainly noticed it had autofocus, which cheaper cameras don't have (or ones built into laptops). for $20 i went ahead and got it

I have the x variant of this but not from woot it is fairly decent for my work meetings. Its isn't 4k but usually my video on screen is only 1/4 of entire screen so its not a big deal. Low light is fairly good, no auto focus, mine has a tripod mount threads, stays on my 34" screen pretty well, i don't use the mic on this so I can't speak for the audip but video is ok.

It wasn't obvious where to put the coupon code... FYI it's on the very last screen of checkout, just before you click "confirm order". So if you are paying with amazon you actually leave Woot and accept the "incorrect" amount, then when you come back to Woot you can put in the code. Kind of backwards...

I made a post recently. I just bought one of these refurbed from woot. It came with a cracked screen and looked melted. See pic. I am returning this thing.

I don't like wide view angle of its lens, I bought Brio 100 instead.
