I was on a $19.99 plan that was set to expire in about two weeks. 5/29/2025.

I previous cancelled this current plan a couple of months ago.

With that being said, I went to restart my plan at the cost of $79.99 and it said I won't be charged until the next billing cycle (5/29/2025), and I accepted.

I then went to cancel the plan for the next billing cycle and was offered to stay for $19.99 on the next billing year billing cycle. 5/29/2025 to 5/29/2026 for $19.99.

Maybe someone here who reads this can try and see if it works for them.

If you have a Peacock account but are not a paid subscriber, Sign In and enter code SPRINGSAVINGS to redeem.

Excludes current paying subscribers. After offer ends, each year you will be charged $79.99 (or the then-current retail price) plus tax until you cancel. Cancel anytime. Additional eligibility restrictions and terms apply: Offer Terms.

any current plan holders will not be able to extend...no stacking deals. Bummer!

Ended up chatting with Peacock support a few times. The last agent was able to cancel my current account, refund the prorated amount and allowed me to sign up for the current promo. So 24.99-2.10 prorated and $7.99 back from am ex promo for a year of peacock.
May be worth your time.. Another agent offered me a $1.99 for 6 months.

At this point I don't understand the difference between service like these and paying a cable company for programming.

Amex has $7.99 back one time with any subscription. The ads are so frequent and horrible.

The Office, King of Queens, Two and a Half Men...those are worth the subscription alone.
And Law and Order.
My free Sapphire subscription expired this week and this offer was perfect timing. Like 7 cents per day Smilie

My parents, who granted are a bit clueless and not tech savvy, pay almost $350 a month to their cable company.

But you don't understand paying $2/month for Peacock's live and on demand stuff vs paying for a fat bundle of stuff you don't want?

I always find the name Peacock TV Premium to be misleading. Premium should mean no ads. They do that on purpose.

The only reason I have a Peacock subscription is to watch the Premier League. The OTA channel NBC and the cable channel USA Network don't broadcast all matches.

Yes, just subscribed to watch Premier League now and the NBA when Peacock gets the broadcasting rights next season.

I do not understand the willingness of people to pay to watch commercials either way. One could cost a million and the other 1 cent. I'm sure that philosophy is over a lot of people's heads. Oh, and cancel your parents cable if you love them.
