Underwood isn't the "original" recipe either. They were just the original pepper supplier. There is no original recipe siracha available anymore since Huy Fong isn't able to reproduce it with their new supplier.

Not quite the kick as the OG recipe, and agreed that it does have a hint of sweetness, but overall I would say its 90% true to the original and the best substitute we have now 🤷🏻 ♂️

HF is very close to the original flavor these days, and Underwood, the brand that Costco sells, is even further away. It's a different sauce entirely. I know there has been a werid full-on anti HF campaign over the last few years, and it is not entirely uncalled for. But there is a lot of misinformation around buying Underwood if you want the orignal HF taste.

If you like HF, you likely won't have a problem with the current batch. And if you don't want to support the company anymore, that's fine as well. No need to spread you personal thoughts as fact to coherse people.

Only 17 ounce is showing available for me. Really annoying that Amazon started this certain region availability nonsense.

Edit: Amazon is matching Walmart at $5.58 (w/ out S&S). I ordered it from Walmart with W+ to get free shipping.

FYI, now Costco has the original farm, with the original formula/peppers. This may be the original bottle, but its not the original sauce everyone loves. Huy Fong didnt want to pay a fair market price, so Costco moved in. Do not buy this expecting the original taste.

Underwood Farms, yup Huy Fong tried to screw over the Underwood family, now they own the original sold at costco. Dont buy this fake garbage

Costco has been OOS for months for the Underwoodfarms Sriracha But I just checked and it's available again. thanks for mentioning it. Here's the item # 1768166

So glad that I read the comments here. I knew that this company recently changed their recipe and that it isn't the same, but had no idea that I could get the OG sauce at Costco!
