FWIW, the full price shown here is secondary market value. The sale price quoted is still a couple hundred thousand dollars over Patek's MSRP. BUT the only way anyone with no purchase history or notoriety is getting one of these will be on the secondary market.

That makes sense.

Patek actually discounting their watches would be bad for their brand. Probably better for them to destroy it than 50% off.
