Perfect for sous vide steak charring at the edge of my garage on a rainy day. I've been looking for a cheap torch that's got a bigger flame than my basic plumber torch for years now, not an exaggeration.

Granted I got this and the longer version that is more directed for starting grills, weeds, etc for less than $200 for both

I can assure you the quality is there and for me it was worth it, where this looks to be much cheaper and more limited.

Doesn't propane impart more off odors, flavors to seared meats than butane? I have only used butane torches.
