I have a few of these and they are great for just tossing in the tackle box. No fear of rust or water ruining the sheath.

Bought one ages ago as a garden knife, kicked around, rusted, resharpened at least a dozen times and still going strong. The sheath is particularly nice as well, good hold and satisfying click but not too tight to easily sheathe/redraw one handed.

Excellent knife, everytime we go camping, i used this to slit a large fire wood using other fire wood as a hammer. Everyone was surprised when they see the small but so strong knife. Bte, it still sharps as almost new.

Stainless steel is great for rust prevention, but doesn't keep a sharp edge as carbon steel, which rusts, but can be made much sharper.

Actually go to their store page, then on the knife select see options. Then the "…options from" button. Then there's an Amazon discount for $11.79 showing for me.

Clicking the options on the main item page didn't show the discount for me.

exactly the same for me, except i was a bit slow and bought them Oct 3. still good knives. keep one in the glove box and one in the tool box.

This has been incorrect for 60 years or so. Modern stainless alloys like this very fine grained 12c27 will take an exceptionally sharp edge and hold it longer than your typical 1095 carbon steel. 12c27 is very close to 13c26 and AEB-L. 13c26 is a steel used to make razor blades.
