It's easy to see how quickly Tesla is falling. This is theoretically the time that sales should be up, reduced pricing on cybertrucks, only refresh of the Model Y since introduction, even got the president pitching sales on the WH lawn.

In fact, automotive revenue is down 20% in q1, and gimmicky promotions like this, are proof they can't move cars.

Tesla has many fans, I don't think it's possible for such an established brand to fail for decades.
Tell that to Blackberry and Nokia.

It's a promotion that is similar to what many other car manufacturers have. It's hardly "gimmicky", and because it coincides with a drop in sales, doesn't prove anything.
2025 q1 is a huge drop in Tesla sales, and an increase in overall EV sales proves something of course, but some people will deny everything, always.

Tesla is one of the first to market in the EV space with success, but first to dominate globally..... Not so certain about that.... With byd going hard globally, is hard to imagine

There's more meaningful competition for Tesla every year, and their vehicles continue to underwhelm, both in quality and features. And that's before considering the toxicity of the brand. The only thing propping this brand up is the stock price which is completely disconnected from reality and the millions in taxpayer subsidies we waste on this garbage company. And that's before considering the brand's toxicity with it's intended core customer base.

If we hadn't essentially blocked all Chinese electric imports, we'd be swimming in cheap, decent quality electric cars. But instead we're pouring billions of tax dollars into Tesla so that Elon gave give himself billions in payouts despite being the worst CEO in America.
