CVS 40% Off coupons

So CVS is IMHO the most expensive drufstore compared to others but I always get these 20-40% off coupons. All these years the best deal I've came up with is propane. Since regular price is similar to even bigger stores in my area. Any one have any other ideas for best use of the coupon. Some times you can get good deals on toys and small Legos compared to ebay pricing

I don't CVS anymore, used to think of these as useless b/c they apply after ALL coupons, even extrabucks (ecbs). If there is something that GIVES ecbs it might work out okay

made up scenario:
toothpaste, get 5ecb wyb 2
$2 digital coupon
each one is $5
buy one $5 -40% = $3
different transaction
buy one $5 - $2dQ = $3

total paid $6, get 5ecb

but it's quite a pain to do separate transactions like that.

Walk through CVS and look at things you buy. There are a few other things you'll see that almost never go on sale anywhere that are cheaper with even a 20% off coupon than buying it elsewhere. It really is quite individualized. For example, we don't use propane so I wouldn't think to suggest buying it with a % off coupon.

I've used those on things like vital proteins collagen powder. 30% + on that is good.
Also, I use Loreal's daytime moisturizer with high % + coupons. Costs close to 30, have gotten it with the coupons for under 10.
Just remember to only buy one, if it's b1g1 1/2 off the percent will work if you just buy 1.
