My local HD has charcoal color for $1 more still so keep checking. Free shipping so I got THAT goin' for me
I got the chance to inspect it. It's the biggest piece of flim-flam I've seen in ages. You can pry the lid apart in the middle and reach your hand in, even if you put ACTUAL LOCKS on each end (by the way, you need FOUR of!!!).
There's virtually no sealing or gasketing around the edge, so moisture/critters/rodents/pests/insects can freely enter.
The handles ARE the latches. So you can very easily unlatch it while picking it up, having it fall out of your hands and crash to the ground with ease. Absolutely bonkers design.
The worst is the weak construction. It wibbles and wobbles with very little reinforcement. It's a single-use throwaway in such that if it breaks, you're "not out that much".

We own a couple of them for car camping, so they don't simply sit idle on a shelf as blanket storage queens. They're regularly transported and actively used. They are certainly far stronger than the typical clear plastic "Sterite" style boxes with flimsy tops that break when you breathe on them.
The size is a nice compromise between large and small, so you can store fairly dense items without the box becoming too heavy to easily move. They seem to be appropriately smaller than the classic big box store black and yellow trunks in this respect.
I would NOT consider them strong enough to safely build portable smart batteries ("solar generators"), as someone above mentioned. Stationary, perhaps.
If you want hermetically sealed (o-rings) boxes the same size you're going to pay more.
This grade box has a place and use.
