OOS and more expensive. Most LCS pay a small premium for Maple Leafs and American Buffalo coins.

It's risky in a sense that gold price can drop and if you sell locally might not get best price Best way is to find a card with 5x warehouse and 2x executive membership and then try to break even etc

Not anymore. Costco bumped up their prices midday today with the upswing of spot. 3299 was a very respectable deal for maples and spot around the same price.

Yep. They always do. Amazing it stayed at $3299 for several hours despite spot continuing to rise.

I wouldn't recommend that. Risky - price could drop between when you order the gold and when you can sell it.

My method for manufactured spending is usually quarterly tax estimates at pay1040.com. There is a 1.75% fee, but you probably get 1-2%cb, and getting the money back with your next tax refund is guaranteed by the government. You can reduce your employment withholding if you want the money back earlier.

Go around to the local coin shops or look at online outfits like Kitco for quotes. Those usually provide the best prices when selling.

If you live near a larger town, find a place that deals in old, rare coins. They will also deal in gold and silver bullion. Otherwise look for a trade show in that specializes in rare coins where dealers from all over gather to buy and sell. A trade show is more common than you would think. You should get close to the spot price from a local dealer depending on what kind of gold you have to sell. Generally gold minted by countries fetch the most money. US and Canadian gold will bring the better return.
