Not trying to crap on this deal, or talk anyone out of it, but if you're like me in the past and you really only needed Lightroom, check out DarkTable. It's free and open source, and it did everything I needed it to do. I didn't know it existed, and it would have saved me a bunch of money.

Lightroom CC plan doesn't include LRC right? $20 worth it for LRC and possibly using photoshop using the photography plan?

Not trying to crap on this deal, or talk anyone out of it, but if you're like me in the past and you really only needed Lightroom, check out DarkTable. It's free and open source, and it did everything I needed it to do. I didn't know it existed, and it would have saved me a bunch of money.

If you prepaid for the 20GB and buy the 1TB plan, both plans will run concurrently. We 20GB plan subscribers have to wait for another 20GB plan deal unless we are month to month.

Unfortunately, Adobe stopped the 20GB plan in January 2025. No new deals for that plan. Currently, existing users can remain on that plan until they cancel.

I tried DT a few years ago. My main issue was its lack of auto adjustment.

Most of my family love pictures that imo aren't very good. I'll pick out 1 or 2 of my favorites to work on for print and quickly run through the rest. It's the latter that DT struggled with for me.
