If your trying to skimp 5$, your just missing out. They devs keep dropping fresh new content and the player base is massively supported.

We've all spend 60$+ on AAA titles that turn out to be trash and we never play them again. 25-30$ for a high quality game that you know you'll like is hard to beat.

Last FP deals were $25.50 (March), $24.20 (December), $23 (December), $25.50 (December). Not seeing from any reputable sellers for less than this right now though.

I'm not too worried. I was still finding matches easily in the first helldivers game before two released. So I don't think the player count will drop to ghost town levels before a sequel is released.

Great game. Player base is actually not toxic like most games. Great coop 3rd person shooter with friends and randos alike

No, it gives you access to diverse items that make the gameplay more dynamic and fun. Possible to play without it just fine, though.
