I didn't even realize there were no games. What a stupid execution; no games and the controllers are not even the original style. The entire Atari library (2600, 5200, 7800) can fit on a 10 MB drive.

The point of it is:

1. If you have old Atari cartridges, this is an HDMI-ready way to play them.
2. Sell Atari cartridges. Atari has thirty or so reissues and new titles you can buy from them.

And, the pack-in controller will be familiar to Europeans of a certain age.

So the audience is collectors, nostalgia-seekers. There are plenty of options with packed-in games.

This is just a Stella emulator in a box. It reads the ROM from the cartridge and dumps it. Thus why multi-game carts like Harmony won't work. It's also the same thing as the 2600+, in a different case. 2600+ also played 7800 games.

Had a friend who used a Moates Ostrich plugged into a NES/SNES cart and he just loaded whatever game he wanted to the Ostrich. Can probably do the same if you want to sacrifice a classic cart for Atari retro gaming.
