You have no clue of what you are talking about. This goes on sale for $79-$99 every once a while. $159 is simply a horrible price because its the full price for Refurbished that available every month around 20th. Amazon sell brand new RF50mm for $129 fairly frequently.

The other guy is right. You are the one that needs to do your homework. $159.99 is the normal price for this refurbished lens. If it were on sale, it would have a line striking out the normal price.

I also bought this refurbished RF50mm F1.8 STM lens for $79.00 in Dec 2023.

I am talking about the RF. I paid $99 directly from canon on 1/27/25. Amazon had it new for $140 at the same time.
