Pretty sure he's saying if you end up instead getting a crappy knockoff, it will kill your feet and you'll be stuck during a hike.

The Moab 3's are fantasic for hiking. I wore a pair for hiking into and out of the Grand Canyon to the Havasupi Falls (13 miles one way) twice and did not have foot pain or blisters.

For those that are real slick dealers, you can get this cloned and any size on AliExpress, probably temu too, for $30. Since they're made from the same place. I got them for $25 and they've survived no problem.
