I heartily recommend buying a vitamix if you want to buy one blender that can do it all. My wife bought a refurbished one when we started dating almost 15 years ago and we're still happy with it and use it 2-4 times a day.

No. I have it and it's good for mixing powders into drinks, but can't blend ice cubes or frozen fruit at all.

I bought one couple months ago from Walmart at $25. Ice crushing is not as good as the $25 Ninja I returned (leaked) and the base/seal where the blade is it feels it's not going to last very long due to the sizeof the cup. It's also very prone to leaking when you attempt to remove it from the base by twisting. It will unlock the cup if not careful.

Weak and often over heats and turns off. I returned one and got another and the same thing happened. The older versions didn't have this problem. I cannot recommend this
