Then head to Consumer and Retail Products section > Water Filters (click the link)
Then use the search bar and look at a company you're interested in, in this case it's express water. Finally verify the correct cert. I believe its 58 and 53. Then inspect the table and look for the water filter itself, then check out the details.
Hmm i cannot attach a snippet? but if you follow those steps you'll find some info. Hopefully im write..
Thank you!
NSF/ANSI Standards 42, 53 and 401
anything wrong with fridge filters? No, but it depends what you want to accomplish.
if you want safe water. it's fine, as tap water is fine (in USA with a few unusual exceptions like flint Michigan)
if your goal is to taste better, a fridge filter is also fine if that makes the water taste good enough for you.
if you don't trust your water company don't trust the government and don't trust water scientists and think that any amount of anything in your water is dangerous then the fridge filters are only ok because reverse osmosis filters are better. from the perspective of being safe by virtue of filtering as much as possible, a refrigerator filter would not be good enough because a reverse osmosis filter is better.
TLDR; it depends on your threshold for taste good enough in your personal belief about how much filtering is safe enough.
Mine doesn't have the mineral-adding stage, which is really important for RO water. I have had to add minerals manually. I think these are pretty easy to install for the average person. You will have to drill a small hole into your plumbing drain pipe and you'll need your sink to have a hole for the faucet part or be ready to drill a new hole in your sink for that. The tank fits under my sink and takes up about 1/2 my under-sink area.

You don't need to add fluoride back. If you are concerned about dental issues consider topical application which is the most effective way to protect your teeth with fluoride. Most municipalities are taking fluoride out of the water supply. You should maybe due some independent research on the topic and see if you still want to do that.
Haven't seen any available. Probably because the recommended amount is so little it would be difficult to meter without high cost equipment.
If you have very high fluoride content (>4mg/L) understand that RO systems that run 75-100GPD are less "efficient" at removing contaminants (think 99% vs 95%), so it may not be as much of an issue for you because the result would be within the recommended levels of .7mg/L or less, especially since different systems can be more or less efficient at removing fluoride in particular: you'll have to check the individual system's filtration rate on specific contaminants to be sure.
I have the non-alkaline version of this. My city tap water is 357 tds, 7 tds after filter.
Also realized in looking this up I haven't changed my filters in 2.5 years.
I recommend this instead of the included saddle tap. it's a bit pricey but if you have a dishwasher, it saves you from making a leak prone hole in your drain pipe.

Home Depot has these and they seem to be listing the REAL retail prices... and why is the 100 gallon per day model, here, only $10 more, with a list price of $189 and NO oversized, in your face, red, 44% Off... surprised it's not blinking.
This kind of marketing should be illegal. Suckers...
