Shipping on 10 of them is only $5.00
These normally go for about $7-$8 each retail, and can last up to 25 years if stored properly. This is one of my go to camping/hiking breakfasts.

Don't bother, he never responds. He comes in, makes outlandish claims, never provides any substantiation for said claims - even when pressed or politely asked to do so, and then vanishes as soon as the slightest amount of critical thinking exposes his / her claims as flimsy.
You can make your own organic granola and put in a bag, for $2 a pound...So why in the world would you pay almost $20 a pound for this garbage that has enough crap in it to kill you for the next 25 years.Boycott this garbage.
You can eat your dry, stale granola that you made for $2 a pound and stuck in a zip loc bag for 3 years. I'll stick with Mountain House but that's just me.
I don't freeze dry any ingredients. The effort compared to the miniscule weight savings makes it not worth it. Instead of milk, I typically use ground almonds. They add great fats, sustained energy, and when ground they turn into something very similar to almond milk... without all the toxic ingredients typically found in almond milk.

Almonds go bad so quickly though, how do you get ground almonds into your emergency supply to last 20 years?
Strange thread for you to be posting in if that is true.
Reading your name, seems a strange thread for you to be posting in if you are afrugalfather. There's little to nothing frugal about a 4oz package of granola for over $1 an oz. lol
