I've heard the XM5 have excellent noise cancelling, the noise cancelling here is just "ok". Benefit to these Yamahas is the excellent Yamaha sound quality and AptX Adaptive if you have supported hardware and want to game with them, with the advantage of Low Latency. I use them specifically with my Logitech G Cloud hardware that supports AptX Adaptive.

Linkbuds or Linkbuds S? Totally different. And you can get Linkbuds S from Secondipity for $60, last I checked. Mine had connection issues after 1.5 years, but I usually lose or break buds before that. Battery life was fine for me.
Linkbuds S. I am not spending on these expensive earbuds.
Only Apple provide post warranty replacement for $49.

It's still available and I just placed an order. Click on one of the color options in the original SD post. Those links have the promotional identifiers appended to the product page URL. The price should then change from $279 to $59.

I'm looking for earbuds that cancel out the sound of my lawn mower. The deck is pretty loud and I use foam earplugs.. any idea if these would work for that? My pixel buds (a-series) don't even come close.

Are these good or no? A lot of negative reviews on Amazon
I bought a pair of these to use mowing to replace some old Soundcore earbuds I had that had quit working. The noise cancelation on these Yamaha buds is terrible. I've already purchased a new pair of Soundcore A40...no comparison. Read the reviews and you won't buy them. I should've.

I bought these a month ago. I have I have B&ws, bud 3pros and several other comparable ones. These are as good as the others if not better. These sound very resolving but don't lack in any area. They connect fast, are good for phone calls. I ordered my second pair yesterday. Total steal for $59

The music quality is good, but the ANC is virtually nonexistent.

I am pretty sure you aren't protected from noise by these things, there is just a countering frequency so your brain processes a zero sound; your ears are still getting all the vibrations they typically can't counter higher frequency sounds and/or aren't responsive enough for system sharp noises (sledge on plate steel). You'll probably notice pain even if you can't hear the sound. I work in deep water vessel engine rooms, 100K+ HP engines and 2 or more 2.5kW generator sets - very loud - typically folks wear whatever ear buds they want with ear muffs over them. For sleeping, noise cancelling should be okay.Plenty of folks don't wear proper PPE. They love working on ships because the ambient roar of machinery drowns out the constant ringing in their ears.
I've made such things. If the noise cancelling was perfect the zero sound results in zero energy to the ears, so no damage to the ears. Imperfect, then some sound and sound energy will get to the ears.

Decent for the price, definitely better sounding ear buds by other companies.

Mine arrived earlier this week. Definitely worth the price paid. After changing the tips to the larger size they stay in well. The case is obnoxiously large though.
